This ongoing series explores the tension between internal turmoil and outward humor, using a blend of collage and stop motion to tell fleeting stories that are both comical and quietly devastating.

Each scene is constructed using miniature scale figures photographed and collaged into simple but surreal backdrops. These stills are then animated into short stop motions and overlaid with fragmented dialogues — often no more than one or two sentences — that reflect the internal noise we carry and the social rituals we use to mask it.

The result is a body of work that acts like micro-theatre: self-contained moments that mix vulnerability with deadpan delivery. The tone is dry, odd, intimate — inviting the viewer to laugh, then flinch.

This project is both a formal experiment and a mental health exploration, using humor as a coping tool and art as a means of expression when language isn’t quite enough.
